APPSC requests candidates to update OTPR details from 30th September
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has advised all applicants and candidates to update their One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) details from 30 September 2026 in view of the changes introduced to determine local status in the state.
According to a press release issued by the Commission on Tuesday, adjustments have been made in the OTPR system regarding district, zone and multi-zone details based on candidates’ study and residence details. The changes have been incorporated in accordance with the Andhra Pradesh Presidential Order 2025, particularly para 7 of the GOMs. No. 45, General Administration Department (SPF&MC) dated 20 April 2026.
The commission directed the candidates to update their OTPR details before applying for any recruitment notification issued by APPSC. Bidders were also requested to ensure that the information provided is accurate, complete and in accordance with the applicable rules.
APPSC says that the details provided in the OTPR will be verified at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process. Please note that candidates who provide incorrect information or make false statements about their eligibility or other particulars may face rejection of their candidature in accordance with applicable rules.
Candidates can update their details through the Commission’s official website, psc.ap.gov.in, the release said.
Assistant professor, lecturer position
APPSC has also announced the schedule of Screening/Written Test to be conducted through Computer Based Tests (CBT) for the recruitment of Assistant Professor posts in various universities and Lecturer posts in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT).
According to the Commission, the exams for the posts announced by 19 universities will be held from December 1 to 5, 2026. The tests will be held in the former 13 districts of the state.
APPSC said that the detailed exam schedule will be published separately later.
