
After a long wait, the state government invited online applications to general transfer of higher secondary teachers to the academic year 2025-26.
In the years 2024-25 years, no higher secondary teacher transfers were held, despite the urgent organizations of higher secondary teachers.
As a result of previous complaints about disproportionate delays at the start and completion of the transfer process, the Minister of General Education V. Sivankutty announced last month that higher secondary general transfers for the new academic year will be completed by May to facilitate the connection of teachers in their new schools before starting June 1.

The app can be submitted at www.dhsetransfer.kerala.gov.in until 3 May.
KERALA infrastructure and technology for education (KITE), which were entrusted with the transfer -related procedures, have made teachers to update their profiles and directors to make the necessary repairs and for accurate vacancies.

Currently, more than 7,815 vacancies are available for transmission. The Malappuram district has the highest number of vacancies (1 124), followed by Kannur (944) and Kozhikode (747). The district with the smallest vacancies are Pathanamthitta (134), IDUKKI (184) and Kottayam (232).
Among the subjects, English teachers have the highest number of vacancies (859), closely followed by the economy (527) and mathematics (482). German, music and geology have only one free space.
The number of vacancies may change. On the portal there are details about an unoccupied place in real time, categorized according to the entity at the level of state and district.
