The Jagadish Market Hyderabad was arrested by a counterfeit missile of Apple’s accessories, where four owners of mobile shops were found to pass counterfeits as real. Officers from the Commissioner’s working group (central zone), along with the Abids police, carried out current raids and confiscated duplicate accessories for iPhone worth 1.01 crore.
The accused were identified as the owner of the Shree Mataji Vikram Singh, Suresh Kumar RajpuroHit, which operates RG, Natharam Choudary of Rajaram Mobility and Prosator Sapraitor OC Sarfaraz.
“Men provided fake accessories from marketing agents in Mumbai. These items, accompanied by Duplicate Apple logos and printed packaging, were sold to unsuspecting customers,” said DCP Task Force YVS Sudheendra.
Among the seized items were 156 AirPods, 16 energy banks, 430 Apple logo stickers, 295 adapters and adapter covers, 61 USB cables, 45 batteries of mobile phones and 1,430 silicone covers.
Investigators confirmed that traders were aware of the counterfeit nature of the goods and intentionally violated the copyright laws to maximize profits. The raid took place on May 25th after a trusted intelligence. The accused and confiscated material have since been handed over to the Station House officer (sho) by the ABIDS police for further legal management.
