
Two men dressed as delivery boys robbed the jewelry in the Ghaziabad’s Link Road 24 July. They stole almost 20 kg of silver and 125 grams of gold ornaments.
Two men dressed as swiggy and blinkit Delivery Agans entered the Mansi Jewelers in Ghaziabad’s Brij Vihar around 15:30 and plundered gold and silver £20 lakh in six minutes.
They carried a weapon, attacked the staff, and forced them to remain silent. The crime occurred in daylight and was caught at CCTV. The police said the men had entered the store and pretended to deliver the consignment. Then they threatened employees and took valuables.
Representative of the police commissioner Nimish Patil confirmed that the police quickly reached the place after obtaining information.
“In PS Link Road, around 16:00, information was accepted that around 15:30 two unknown men entered his jewelry, threatened a worker and plundered around 20 kg of silver ornaments and 125 g of gold ornaments,” DCP quoted Patil.
“The police immediately arrived and checked it. 6 teams were created to solve the case,” he added.
The police check the CCTV shots and the following leads to their catch.

“It’s not a robbery. Someone has ordered jewelry and rushes to wrap and deliver within 10 minutes! Understand the pressure in which they are,” one of them joked.

Similar incidents in recent times
In January, the Pune of Pune caught Ganesh Kathewade. Masked as a delivery boy committed 14 burglary into empty apartments and steal jewelry worth £80 Lakh.
In April, as a delivery agent, a man in Delhi Kalkaje was, entered the house of an older couple, tied them up and plundered cash and gold. The police arrested him using CCTV shots.
In June, four men robbed Vasant Kunj Farmhouse, one to enter by a trick. In July, the boy in Mumbai was arrested for theft of gadgets such as MacBooks and iPhone. During his delivery he entered the homes through the open door. The police said they did it six times.
