
The Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association (APGEA) has welcomed the directions issued by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on a petition alleging irregularities in the commercial tax department.
Association president G. Suryanaraya said in a statement on Monday that the court’s order for a detailed probe into allegations against Chief Commissioner A. Ahmad Babu, including issues related to tax collection, denial of promotions and alleged harassment of employees, was a positive step to ensure accountability.
