Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand directed the AP Central Power Distribution Company Limited (APCPDCL) and district officials to ensure timely completion of all ongoing power projects, with special focus on rooftop solar panels, feeder-level solar systems, enhanced distribution sector scheme (RDSS), smart metering and EV charging infrastructure.
He also highlighted the need for faster finalization of land required by solar projects, speedy conclusion of power purchase agreements and improved system reliability and consumer service standards.
In a review meeting with District Collectors A. Thame Ansaria (Guntur), DK Balaji (Krishna) and G. Lakshmisha (NTR District), AP-Transco Joint MD G. Surya Sai Praveen Chand and CPDCL CMD P.
