AP GST Officers and employees of the Association of Employee Association State President Chowdary Purushottam Naida said on Monday that the chief commissioner A. Babu has positively answered the concerns of the association on frequent employees’ transfers in the department.

The delegation emphasized that almost all officials and employees were often transferred because instead of their jurisdiction and duties, their “seniority of the station” was taken into account.
Mr. Chowdary explained that although many officers and employees operate from the same office, they are assigned to the GSTs of collection far outside the location.
“Mr. Babu understood the problems of the association and assured that our complaints would alert higher bodies to avoid frequent transfers,” said Alina Ramesh Kumar, President of Rayi Venugopal, Secretary General, Chintal Kalyan.
Representative Wine Wing, M. Rajya Lakshmi, hoped that the government would make the necessary changes for general transmission-2025 instructions in accordance with the requirements of the GST department.
