The AP Inland Waterways Authority (APIWA) organized a consulting meeting of the parties to the Parties to map Vision Inland Waterways Vision in Vijayawada on Thursday.

APIWA chairman Z. Siva Prasad emphasized the importance of the public and private sector partnerships (PPP) to overcome fiscal restrictions and accelerate development. Strategic initiatives include RO-RO freight services, tourism and temple temple and enhancements to the port. More than 50 industrial clusters are planned along the corridors of river corridors to support regional growth.
APIWA also announced its pioneering role of the first state body, which digitally integrated the data of vessels into the Navik National Database, which ensures management and operational transparency in real time.
He called for cooperation and called on the governments of trade unions and state governments to integrate inland waterways with a road, rail and port infrastructure for a smooth logistics grid.
