Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday announced that dedicated “work allowances” would be set up for workers across the state, while reiterating his government’s commitment to rebuild the state through “good governance and inclusive development”.
Addressing a public meeting at Pamidimukkala in Krishna district on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, the Chief Minister said that 15 workers would be set up in major cities in the first phase. He said these centers will be developed into skill development centers where workers can improve their skills on their non-work days.
