Roads & Buildings, Infrastructure and Investments Minister BC Janardhan Reddy said on Saturday that the state government will be 2.7% of 2.7% in the port of Kakinada.
The port is built at the estimated cost of 2,621 GBP Crore in the special economic zone of Kakinada (KSEZ) by Kakinada Gateway Port Limited, subsidiary AURO Infra Private Limited, in the district of Kakinada.
Mr. Janardhan Reddy checked the construction of the port and ordered AP Maritime Board and income to speed up the soil to the port of the port by mid -2026.
Later, Mr. Janardhan Reddy checked the port of Kakinada Anchorage owned by the State Government.
“The port of Kakinada Anchorage earned in the financial year 2024-25 68 Crore, which exported 3.88 million tons of Paddy,” said Janardhan Reddy.
During his visit to the uppad fishing port, he said that the port would be commissioned by the end of this year.
In an interview for journalists in the port of UPPAD, Mr. Janardhan Reddy, he said that challenges for better connecting ports and ports with national highways will soon be addressed.
The Chairman of the AP Council of the Naval Council D. Satya, the CEO of the AP Pureen Aditya and Kakinada Mla vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, were present.
