All Andhra Pradesh Central Class IV Government Employees Association (affiliated to AP JAC Amaravati) on Sunday (January 18) elected its new state executive at a state level council meeting held at Sri Srinivasa Bhavan in Guntur.
YS Malleswara Rao was re-elected as the State President for a third consecutive term and T. Chennappa was unanimously elected as the State General Secretary.
Addressing the meeting as the chief guest, AP JAC state president Amaravati Bopparaju Venkateswarlu said that the JAC management is trying to resolve the long-standing financial and non-financial problems of the employees and has taken it to the notice of the government.
The formation of a Cabinet sub-committee and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s meeting with employee unions on October 18, 2025 marked a positive start in addressing employee grievances.
He thanked the coalition government for sanctioning the ‘Dearness Allowance’ during Deepavali and for clearing the arrears of nearly ₹1,000 crore before Sankranti. He, however, urged the government to immediately announce the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC), which has been delayed for two years.
Mr. Venkateswarlu also appealed for priority settlement of arrears, especially those related to deceased employees, pensioners and medical reimbursement bills.
The election was conducted by G. Suresh, State General Secretary, AP Cooperative Services Association, as Election Officer.
The new executive consists of 13 members, including chairmen of bodies, vice-presidents, secretaries, treasurer and other officers.
