Following a Supreme Court order, the state government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the alleged irregularities in the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group I recruitment 2018 (Notification No. 27).
Director General of Police (CID) Ravi Shankar Ayyannar will head the SIT, while Superintendent of Police, CID (EOW), K. Chakravarthi has been appointed as a member of the team. The SIT will submit its report to the High Court by March 16, 2026.
