In a significant step towards strengthening the position of Andr Pradesh as a powerhouse Clean Energy, a state cabinet, chaired by N. Chandrababa Naida, approved on Tuesday 26.

Cabinet nodded at the design from M/S Adani Renewable Energy Fifty One Ltd. (Are51l) to increase the capacity of its drawn storage Gandikota (PSP) in the YSR Kadapa district from 1000 MW to 1800 MW.
Two more proposals from the Adani Group were cleaned: M/s Adani Hydro Energy Four Ltd. It was allowed to strengthen the PSP Peddakota in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district from 1000 MW to 1800 MW. M/s Adani Hydro Energy One LTD received approval to increase the PSP Raiwada capacity in the districts of Vizianagarama and Anakapalli from 600 MW to 900 MW. These projects will significantly increase Andhra Pradesh’s energy storage ecosystem, making it a national leader in pumped water energy. This means a significant upgrade in the state of the state with renewable abilities to store energy, he said.
Mr. Partharathy said that the cabinet also approved the design of M/S Berry Alloys Ltd. (Pack) to introduce 83-MW wind hybrid energy project near Maddelacheruvu, district of Sri Satya Sai. The project is part of the Pushing State for integrated pure energy solutions.
In another move to the pump development of water development, the M/S Cabinet approved the Chinta Green Energy PVT. Ltd. For the development of the PSP 360-MW project in Koppol in Kondapuram Mandal, District of YSR Kadapa. This project is expected to play a key role in the stability of the grid and energy leveling, he said.
The Minister stated that in a remarkable remedial measure, the Cabinet canceled the AVUKU PSP 800-MW project in the Nandyal district, formerly granted M/S Yarro Infra PVT. Ltd. (formerly Aurobindo Realty & Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.).
