Main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida introduced on Friday to build Andhra Pradesh as an Indian logistics powerhouse and at the same time expanded industrial corridors and created extensive job opportunities.
In accordance with the main minister, the main minister stated that the state was working on a plan to reduce logistics costs, strengthen the infrastructure and attract global investment. “If logistics expenditures decrease, production costs will fall, which will benefit both manufacturers and consumer,” he said, emphasizing the strategic significance of 1,053 km of Andhra Pradesh in the transport of cargo.
Air university and logistics university also come in AP, in addition to the government of India for perfection, the house reported. The main minister said AP Logistics Corporation will be established to become a leading logistics center.
Naval ports and airports
Mr. Naida described in detail the plans for the development of multimodal transport systems by integrating roads, railways, ports, airports, pipelines and inland waterways. He announced that 14.966 km of roads would be developed at a price of 4,500 GBP Crore, while national highway projects worth 1.5 Lakh Crore have already been taking place and placed the AP second in the ground for the highway density. There are four new ports in the pipeline – Ramayapatnam, Machilipatnam, Mulapta and Duggarajapatnam, and are expected to strengthen the capacity of manipulation of 100 million tonnes.
Mr. Naida said that Bhogapuram Airport will operate until August 2026, in addition to new airports in Kuppam, Ongole, Tunni and Srikakula with Amaravati to get its own airport in the Green Pole. “Our goal is to provide airports within one hour of traveling anywhere in the state,” he added.
When he turned to the industry, he emphasized the investors of awnings such as Kia, Isuzu, Hero Motors, ArcelorMittal, Reliance, Google, IBM, TCS and Accenture. Andra Pradesh has secured approximately 10 lakh crores in the last 15 months worthwhile through various private projects, with the potential to generate nearly 10 lakh jobs, three times more than what the previous government has achieved in five years, he said.
4.71 Created jobs
The main minister also emphasized the focus of his government on the development of skills and employment. He informed the house that 4.71 LakH jobs were created over the last 15 months, including 15,941 jobs through Mega DSC, 9,093 in various government departments, 6,100 in the police and 92,149 through work fairs and skills. More than 3,48 lakh jobs come from the private sector, especially in it, food processing, MSME, renewable energy and tourism.
“We are rebuilding the Andhra Pradesh with confidence and speed. Our goal is the economy of $ 2.4 trillion with $ 450 billion, 100% literacy and 95% qualified workforce,” Naida said, placed AP as a state ready for the future in the national story.
Mr. Naida announced that Andhra Pradesh will be developed as a knowledge center and a goal for future technology to achieve “One Family-One”.
