India Trinamool Congress (AITC) State Conventner PV Anvar join the unified democratic front (UDF) in front of the Nilamburk Byelection may fit in due to the opposition of the UDF voters who are reportedly restless to welcome him to the fold.
UDF components are obviously willing to cooperate with Mr. Anvar for Byelection, but hesitate to formally include it in front. They fear that formal entry into UDF will lend Mr. Anvar and all his past deeds legitimacy.
The unwillingness of UDF includes Mr. Anvar partly stems from the fact that his mother party AITC is against the Indian national development inclusive alliance (India) block led by Congress and does not recognize the leader of the congress Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.
UDF is likely to prefer other allies, such as Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) led by MV Shreyams Kumar and Congress Keral (Mani) led by Jose K. Mani over Mr. Anvar, given his limited influence on the eastern part of the Malappuram district.
Several components of UDF are postponed by Mr. Anvar’s high -fit, in particular his attempts to dictate the selection of the party candidates for Nilamburk Byelection. Its lobbying president of the District Congress (DCC) vs. Joy is considered an overlap.
The reported demand of Mr. Anvar added to the complexity to the UDF connection. State leadership has postponed this decision, and further discussions are expected in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday or later.
UDF is afraid that Mr. Anvar’s requirements could determine the problematic precedent, which would potentially lead to even more disproportionate requirements in the future, which could be harmful to the alliance.
The Secretary General of the Congress Committee of Kerala Pradesh Aryadan Shoukath learned that he hardened his position, not to keep a man like Mr. Anvar. “It is in favor of UDF to decide on the candidate for Nilamburk Byelection, not for Mr. Anvar,” said Mr. Shoukath’s close assistant.
He also stated that Mr. Anvar should not be allowed to recognize the efforts of UDF and his components.
