Kottayam District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in association with Kerala Drug Control Department launched a series of awareness programs on Antimicrobial Resistance across the district.
DLSA Chairman and Chief District Magistrate Manoj M. inaugurated the initiative on Tuesday at a function held at the Kottayam Collectorate complex. DLSA Secretary and Senior Civil Judge Praveen Kumar G. presided over the function.
District Magistrates Lilly K. and Satheesh Kumar V., Chief Magistrate Tejomayi Thampuratti and Assistant Drug Controller Aju Kurian along with District Drug Inspectors Tara S. Pillai and Babita K. Vazhiyil were present.
The program also included a flash mob performed by students of the Center for Professional and Advanced Studies and a skit by students of the Charitable University of Pharmacy.
