Reacting to the Supreme Court granting anticipatory bail to party president Pawan Kher, Congress President Pramod Tiwari on Friday (1 May 2026) asserted that “truth has prevailed and justice has prevailed”.
The Supreme Court has granted anticipatory bail to Congress leader Pawan Kher in a criminal case filed on the basis of a complaint filed by the wife of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa, saying the case appears to be motivated by political rivalry and does not warrant custodial interrogation.
