Anti-Terrorism Day at College St. Philomena’s

College of St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous) celebrated National Anti-Terrorism Day at its premises in Mysuru on Thursday.

Organized to spread awareness among students about the dangers of terrorism and promote the values ​​of peace, unity, harmony and national integration, the highlight of the program was a message by Lt. Col. Sathish BS (Rev), who served in the Indian Army from 1996 to 2017.

In his anti-terrorism message, Lt. Col. Sathish emphasized the role of youth in building a peaceful and progressive society.

As part of the program, certificates were presented to the winners of the Red Cross Youth Day competitions. Principal Ravi JD Saldanha administered the anti-terrorism oath to the students and staff, reaffirming his commitment to stand against all forms of violence and work towards maintaining unity and integrity in the nation.
