Anti-Terrorism Day at College St. Philomena’s

College of St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous) celebrated National Anti-Terrorism Day at its premises in Mysuru on Thursday.
Organized to spread awareness among students about the dangers of terrorism and promote the values of peace, unity, harmony and national integration, the highlight of the program was a message by Lt. Col. Sathish BS (Rev), who served in the Indian Army from 1996 to 2017.
In his anti-terrorism message, Lt. Col. Sathish emphasized the role of youth in building a peaceful and progressive society.
As part of the program, certificates were presented to the winners of the Red Cross Youth Day competitions. Principal Ravi JD Saldanha administered the anti-terrorism oath to the students and staff, reaffirming his commitment to stand against all forms of violence and work towards maintaining unity and integrity in the nation.
