Anti-aging biohacker Bryan Johnson decodes Taco Bell’s most popular item, netizens react to ‘hexagon of death’ | Today’s news

January 17, 2026

Bryan Johnson, popular biohacker and anti-aging millionaire, recently made some big claims about a popular food, Taco Bell’s most popular menu item, the Crunchwrap Supreme. He decoded the ingredients of the wrap and linked them to potential health problems such as cognitive decline, dementia, Alzheimer’s and more.

Bryan Johnson on the “hexagon of death”

Johnson called the cover, which is known for its iconic shape, the “hexagon of death”.

He took to his Instagram account and dropped a video of the packaging, claiming it contained metal. He shared, “It’s full of metal, emulsifiers, oxidized oils, and tons of sodium.”

One wrap has 1,200 mg of sodium, he added. “That’s half of what the American Heart Association recommends for one day.”

According to Johnson, Taco Bell received a ‘D’ for its main protein, beef, from the NRDC for using antibiotics. “This is worse than McDonald’s,” he added.

“These antibiotics can destroy your microbiome and can create antibiotic resistance,” the influencer stated.

If he is to be believed, then the tortilla of the popular wrap is loaded with aluminum, 2.6 mg to be exact. “Consuming as little as 0.1 mg of aluminum per day has been linked to higher rates of Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive decline and dementia. One top Crunchwrap will expose you to 26 times that amount.”

Bryan Johnson summed it up by saying, “In one Crunchwrap Supreme, you have aluminum, oxidized oils, aldehydes, excess sodium, and antibiotics, all perfectly wrapped in a hexagon of, in my opinion, death.”

Netizens react to Bryan Johnson’s video

The video left many among netizens in disbelief and shock.

Live Mint could not independently verify the claims.

Taco Bell has yet to respond to the video.

In response to Bryan Johnson’s post, a user wrote in the comments: “Yeah go Bryan will expose them all. We believe in Bryan Johnson,” added another.

Another said: “Bryan, make more videos like this please.”

Another added: “The more you know the better, thanks for making this video bro. Changing lives!” “I don’t need an actual lab analysis with a clear and precise chemical assessment to stop eating Taco Bell. But thanks for the knowledge because aluminum is disgusting and I can’t afford the cognitive decline,” another user commented.

Someone else said, “Oh my god…I always say the food industry wants to kill us. And once our bodies are sick and painful, the drug cartels (pharmas) come in. When we’re dead, the funeral homes will make money off our corpse.”
