Member of the UDUPI-Chikkamagalur Parliament said on Friday Friday that another railway across the bridge (Rob) on Malpe-Tirthhali National Highways (NH) 169A at the UDUP in UDUP said on Friday that another railway over Most (ROB).
The commissioning will thus terminate more than seven years of suffering of road users who have persisted with traffic growth, accidents, dust and crushing, among other things since 2018, when further work with steel Rob-string began. The National Motorway Division of the Karnataka Public Works Department, which extends NH 169A to Four Lane, completed the construction of the bridge on 13 May this year.

The deputy said that although the steel bridge erection was completed on 13 May, the concrete of the bridge surface was delayed due to the premature arrival of the monsoon. The specific surface began on August 3, and the bridge was expected to be ready to operate within one week. Mr. Suvarna said that commissioning is taking place on a favorable occasion of the beginning of Navaratri.
Road Kela Parala
Work to improve roads in Kela Parla, between manipal and paralala on NH 169a, would start from 15 September, said the deputy. The deteriorated section of the highway in a low -lying area tested the patience of road users in the last many years. The deputy received special grants for repairing it and the repairs were expected to be completed within a week.
Part of the expansion of NH
Working on another Rob, which began in 2018 during the four -wees part of the NH 169A between UDUs and Handal, moved at a snail pace for a change in design, bureaucratic delays and other questions. Since the vehicles had to change the lanes from the four -lane road to the two lane to the existing ROB, many accidents were reported in the section. This caused the district administration to initiate a crime against the Ministry and the supplier.
The then deputy Shobha Karandlaj and the existing Mr. Poojary visited the place several times to follow the officials to speed up the project. The total cost of ROs was tied to CRORE 9.
