The Annadanam program (food donation) organized by the devoted Pedda Masjid, also known as Pedda Peerla Chavadi, excelled as a symbol of municipal harmony, thanks to the unique selection of the location.
On Friday, the food was served in front of the temple of Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami at the intersection of Krishnapuram Thana in Tirupati. The Deen-E-Milad Tahreek Association carried out an event to commemorate the anniversary of the prophet led by Sayyed Shafi Ahmed Khadari, Tirupati Qazi. “This event is intended to celebrate the appearance of the prophet by the public, regardless of their faith or religious beliefs,” Khadari said.
The program was also attended by former deputy mayor and Ysrp Tirupati Constituration, Bhumana Abhinay Reddy, and served the public food. He praised the charity efforts of the Masjid and the organizers of the festival and stressed that every religion favors real service over mere words.
Even visitors to the temple of Anjaneya received food served during Milad-Unbi festivities.
