The healthcare provider Ankura Hospital said on Monday (March 31, 2025) that the CRORE provided 165 GBP in financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The investment will support extension plans and consistent with its long -term vision to strengthen its market presence and increase the accessibility of health care in India. As part of the expansion strategy, it focuses on the establishment of new state -of -the -art facilities in key cities across the country, Ankura Hospital said in edition.
“This financial support from the Asian development bank will allow us to strengthen our children’s, parent and gynecological services, expand our facilities and address more families …” said the founder and MD Krishna Prasad Vunnam.
While the hospital was no longer processed in the expansion plans, the ADB document of December 2024 showed that the project included an extension of the Ankura Medical & Research Center (Ampl) by adding five new hospitals with an aggregated capacity of 500 beds; upgrading existing hospitals by their reconstruction and adding 20 other beds, medical equipment and services; financing the requirement of working capital in existing and new hospitals; Installation of roof solar systems in some hospitals; And strengthening the training capacities of Ampl and high -quality clinical operations across its hospitals.
The project will contribute to the expansion of affordable and high quality maternal and children’s services (MCH) in insufficiently operated regions such as Tier-2 and Tier-3. The model for lighting of assets allows reduced capital costs and faster development and surgery in the hospital. The project will strengthen and increase the use of government health insurance programs, including PMJay by facilitating Empanelment at least three new hospitals that will allow people with lower income to use government health insurance.
The ampl now operates 14 hospitals specialized in MCH care in seven cities in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and Odisha.
