
Thirteen pet animals, which was rendered in a landslog of Choorallama-Mundakkai a year ago in several North Indian states a year ago.
The separation of good life conditions of animals entrusted people to ethical treatment of animals (PETA), an international organization to rehabilitate 16 pets whose owners died of land landslides. These include nine cats, five kittens and two dogs. Three of them succumbed to their bad health on their way. The remaining 13 were adopted by pet lovers in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, the head of the director (veterinary matters) from Peta Mini Aravindan in a press release.
More than 2,700 animals were killed on landslides. Up to 202 milk breeders lost their cattle. More than 230 domestic animals were injured. For those rescued, enough food and supplements were provided by private individuals, farmers’ organizations and graduates of veterinary universities.
