“Patriotism and nausea”
“With a grateful heart and unforgettable memories. It’s time for me to say goodbye to the most valuable format of the game, an international test cricket! Over the past 17 years, playing cricket for Sri Lanka was my highest honor and pride.”
“Nothing can correspond to the feeling of patriotism and serfdom when one dresses the national jersey. I gave my cricket and cricket gave me everything in return and made me the person I am today,” Mathews wrote on his social media.
“Grateful and grateful”

“Although I offer Adieu to the test format, as discussed with selectors, I will remain available for selection for white ball formats, if and when my country needs me.
