
Ange postcoglou broke his silence after he was released as manager Tottenham Hotspur on Friday 6th June, and said he would be proud to look back at his work. Postcogla ended Spurs drought last season by winning the European League and getting them into the Champions League.
However, Tottenham ended up in 17th place in the point tablecompleting with 38 points from so many games and The London Club decided on Friday to split trips with the Australian. This ended his two -year term in the club and said it would be the one that he would appreciate throughout his life.
“When I think about my time as a manager Tottenham Hotspur, my prevailing emotions are proud,” he said in a statement published shortly after his release was confirmed.
“The opportunity to lead one of the English historical football clubs and bring back the fame they deserve will live with me throughout life. Sharing this experience with all who really love this club and have seen the impact it has on them is something I will never forget.
“That night in Bilbau was the culmination of two years of hard work, determination, and unwavering beliefs in a dream. There were many challenges to overcome, and a lot of noise that came with an attempt to achieve what many have said.”
“Postcoglou feels that the foundations that have been laid over his time will mean that Spurs will not have to wait long for success to achieve again.
“We laid foundations that mean this club should not wait for another success for another success,” he said. “I have a huge belief in this group of players and I know there is much more potential and growth in them,” Postecoglou said.
The Australian ended his statement by thanking the fans for giving him all the motivation he needed in his club during his time, and also had special news for players.
“I honestly want to thank those who are the life of the club, supporters,” he said. “I know there were some hard times, but I always felt they wanted me to succeed, and that gave me all the motivation I needed to push.”
“Finally, I want to thank those who have been with me every day in the last two years. A fantastic group of young men who are now the legends of this football club and brilliant coaches who have never doubted that we could do something special.
