Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has resumed the admission process for AP Law Common Entrance Test (APLAWCET) and AP Postgraduate Law Common Entrance Test (APPGLCET) for the academic year 2025-26.
In a statement on Sunday, APSCHE Secretary B. Tirupati Rao announced that the admission process will begin on October 21 and will allow registered candidates to exercise their online options from that date.
As per the revised schedule, candidates can submit web options on 21st and 22nd October, make changes on 23rd October and seat allotment will be released on 25th October. Selected students must report to their respective colleges between October 27 and 29, while classes will begin on October 27.
The Council drew attention to some institutional changes during the consultation process. It said that KMR Law College and Rayalaseema Law College in Chittoor were included in the counseling based on court orders. However, both institutions currently do not have approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) or university affiliation. Admission to these two colleges will therefore be subject to the final court decision and subsequent approval by the BCI.
The Board further advised the candidates to reconsider their web options if they have already selected BEST Private University, Anantapur or MPR Law College, Srikakulam. The statement clarified that BEST University does not have BCI approval while MPR Law College has neither BCI approval nor university affiliation.
