Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Public Exams will start on February 24, 2027

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has released the provisional schedule for the first and second year Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2027.
In a statement issued on Thursday, BIEAP Secretary P. Ranjit Basha said the theory exams will begin on February 24 and continue till March 16, 2027.
First-year exams will begin on February 24 with Paper-I and Paper-I language exams for optional subjects. Second-year exams will begin on February 25 with Paper-II and Paper-II language exams for optional subjects.
The English Paper-I exam for first year students is scheduled on February 26, while the English Paper-II exam for second year students will be held on February 27.
Exams for basic and additional subjects will be held in March. The Mathematics and Civics Paper-I exams for first year students are scheduled on March 1, followed by the Mathematics and Civics Paper-II exams for second year students on March 2.
Biology and history exams will be held on March 3 and 4 for the first and second years. Physics and Economics exams are scheduled on March 5 and 8, while Chemistry and Commerce exams will be held on March 9 and 11.
The remaining exams cover subjects including public administration, logic, modern languages and geography. The first-year Public Administration and Logic exams are scheduled for March 12, followed by the corresponding second-year exams on March 13.
Modern language and geography exams for the first year will be held on 15 March, exams for the second year are scheduled for 16 March.
All theoretical exams will take place in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm. The timetable also applies to the examinations of the intermediate vocational course, although a separate timetable will be issued for vocational subjects, Mr. Basha said.
Practical exams
Practical exams for general courses will be held from February 1 to 10, 2027, and for professional courses from February 1 to 15.
Practical exams will take place on two dates, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., including Sundays. The Samagra Shiksha Vocational Trade Examination (NSQF Level 4) theory exam is scheduled for February 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Ethics and Human Values exam will be held on January 27, 2027 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Environmental Education exam is scheduled for January 29 at the same hours.
BIEAP has clarified that the announced schedule is tentative and some exam dates may be subject to minor changes depending on the public holidays announced by the Andhra Pradesh government. Students are advised to watch subsequent announcements from BIEAP for possible schedule updates.
