
Chairman Haj Committee of Andhra Pradesh Haji Sheikh Hasan Basha expressed deep concern over the devastating road accident in Saudi Arabia that claimed the lives of 45 Indian Umrah pilgrims, most of them from Hyderabad and districts across Telangana. He led special prayers for the deceased and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. “This accident is extremely tragic. Condolences are pouring in
Leaders from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana expressed their sympathies to the bereaved families. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said he was deeply saddened and prayed for peace for the departed souls. YSRCP president and former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said he was shocked by the tragedy and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan called the incident “deeply disturbing” and noted that many of the victims were Muslim pilgrims from Hyderabad. HRD Minister Nara Lokesh said he was shocked at the loss of so many lives and offered his deepest condolences.
Minority Welfare Minister NMD Farooq called the incident “extremely unfortunate and heartbreaking” and prayed that Allah grants the victims paradise and strength to their families. BJP state president PVN Madhav said the news from Medina was “heartbreaking”, while R&B Minister BC Janardhan Reddy described the death as “deeply painful”.
Chairman AP Wakf Abdul Aziz said the accident was “excruciatingly painful” and noted that 16 victims were from Hyderabad’s Mallepally bazaar. “No words can console the families. May God grant the departed souls peace,” he added.
