Chief Minister Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naida ordered the Foundation’s department to prepare a comprehensive main plan for the development of ancient SRI Bhramaamba Mallikarjun Swamyvarla Devasthanam in Srisailam, Trist-Class Pilgimage Pilgimage Putrimage.
Mr. Naida also stated that the state government would ask the Union government to allocate 2,000 hectares of forest land to facilitate the complex development of the Srisailam temple.
The main minister, who chaired the audit meeting in his camp office on Sunday, said that the allocation of forest land was necessary to provide modern Lakh devices who visit Srisailam every year.
“The project not only improves equipment such as parking, accommodation and connectivity, but also exports environmental protection with the development of the temple,” he said.
Importance
Mr. Naida stressed that Srisailam’s temple, which is like Jyotirling Kshetra and Shakti Peetha, should be developed to handle the heavy pilgrimage influx of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra and other countries. “The temple city should be associated with the nearby National Motorways in Dornala, Srisailam Sunnipenta and the EEGALAPENT to improve availability,” he said.
Mr. Naida, however, said that the temple appeared as the second most important pilgrimage destination in Andhra Pradesh after Tirumale, and stressed that the temple city lacked sufficient parking and other equipment for mastering large assemblies. He also stressed that the development of the temple should go hand in hand with ecological protection.
Tiger protection
The Chief Minister ordered the Ministry of Forest to prepare the action plan for the protection of tigers in the Srisailam Tiger Reserve reserve, ensuring that the initiatives for the development of the temple contributed to the preservation of greenery and natural heritage.

Representatives of the main Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, who shared his opinions, emphasized the urgency of the expanding infrastructure in Srisailam due to the growing number of devotees. He proposed to study available devices in other main forest temples, such as Sabarimala to accept suitable models for Srisailam.
Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and higher officials of foundations and forest departments were present.
