Andhra Pradesh Minister for Housing, Information and Public Relations Kolusu Parthasarathy has announced that the government will soon clear the pending housing bills and address the issues raised by the beneficiaries under the housing scheme.
Addressing the media at the Secretariat on Wednesday, Mr. Parthasarathy said that the government would identify the causes of dissatisfaction among citizens in the housing sector to ensure full satisfaction in welfare delivery.
He said that more than 75% of the people in the state expressed satisfaction with the government’s welfare and development initiatives, according to a survey conducted by the government.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to strive for 100% public satisfaction and analyze whether the remaining dissatisfaction was due to administrative or representational deficiencies.
Mr. Parthasarathy said that despite the loss of millions in revenue, the government continued to supply free sand as part of its social welfare commitment.
He said the coalition government had held 34 Cabinet meetings and 26 State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meetings in 16 months, which had attracted investments worth ₹7.65 crore and created 7.21 crore jobs in 182 projects.
The minister urged the houseless city dwellers to apply online for housing programs by November 5, noting that the chief minister has already approved 50,000 town houses and is ready to approve more based on demand.
