On Tuesday, the state government was a number of committees for the smooth behavior of the 2025 partnership summit, which is to be held on the 14th and 15th November in Visakhapatnam. The summit will focus on determining the courageous trajectory towards the transformation of Andhra Pradesh into a trillion economy with a special emphasis on the industrial sector.
Andhra Pradesh had previously hosted the partner summits in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2023. The upcoming edition is organized in cooperation with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as part of the wider vision of the state under Swarna Andra@2047.
In order to supervise the planning and implementation of the summit, the government created a group of ministers (GOM) led, electronics and communication minister Nara Loksh. Ministers TG Bharath, Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Kandula Durgesh, P. Narayan and Kondapall Srinivas were appointed members of GOM. The committees were announced through the Government Order (GO) 140 issued on behalf of the main secretary K. Vijayanand.
GOM will supervise the work committee chaired by the main secretary and composed of key officials, such as Police CEO, Visakhapatnam Airport, airport director, police commissioner and commissioner GVMC. This committee will expand the administrative and logistical support to the organizers.
The Committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary (political), the Ministry of Administration, will supervise protocol, acceptance, accommodation and traffic arrangements. It will also manage airport protocols including customs, immigration and parking aircraft. Security measures for the VVIP movement, the accompaniment of police accompaniment and the protection of vehicles will be coordinated by the Committee on the Security and Transport Management, led by the next CEO (Law and Order). The Committee on Corriding the City, led by the main secretary (municipal administration and city development), will take to beautify driving across Visakhapatnam, including road cleaning, installation of welcome arches and medians maintenance.
The cultural arrangement, including welcome dinners, networks and performances during the summit, will be addressed by the Cultural Committee, chaired by a special main secretary (tourism). Media coordination, including press briefings and interviews, falls under the Media and Publicity Committee led by the Commissioner for Information and Public Relations.
The exhibition committee, chaired by the Secretary (industry and trade), will take up the establishment of the Andra Pradesh pavilion and the management of other exhibits. Investment proposals and orders specific to sectors will be reviewed by the Investment Support Committee, head of the main secretary of the main minister.
The Committee on Business Alliance and Development, which is also chaired by the Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister, will promote commercial links, emphasizes investable projects and facilitates meetings between civil servants and visiting international delegations.
The group of ministers and the work committee will conduct regular reviews and cooperate with various central and state government authorities to ensure successful behavior of the summit.
