Andhra Pradesh Distise Master Ravindra Master addressing media at the Secretariat in Amaravati on Thursday.
Andhra Pradesh Minister of Exclusual Taxes and the Ravindra College claimed that the state government is taking strict measures to reduce the production and offer of false alcohol.
Ravindra addressed the media on the secretariat on Thursday and said the wing for recovering deposits effectively controlled the threat. “As part of the Provodayam program, 21 districts have already been declared without liqueur,” the Minister said.
“The government is considering a fake case of liqueur in Mulacalacirer in Annamayya district very seriously. Strict steps will be taken against the position,” the Minister said.
Mr. Ravindra said the coercive team confiscated 30 cans of false liqueurs, false labels, cartons and sealing equipment. “The event against several persons associated with the case, including the owners of the bar and the employees of excise taxes, was launched, with one sub-insector suspended due to negligence,” the minister said.
“False Propaganda”
He criticized YSRCP for “spreading false propaganda” to false alcohol incidents to create panic among the public. “Those who issue or circulate false reports in printed, electronic or social media will face legal measures under BNS 353 and 356 sections,” the Minister warned, adding that “all false liqueur cases in 2019-2024 will be thoroughly investigated and responsible under the law.”
