Minister Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naid was congratulated by Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) after her flag brand Araku Coffee won the prestigious Changemaker trading line at national level in the financial transformation category.
The Minister of the Gummmadi Sandhya Rani and GCC CEO CEO Kalpana Kumari met the main Minister of the Secretariat on Friday and showed him the price and quoted from the trading line on Friday.
The main minister praised success and noted that since the acquisition of a geographical indication (GI), Araku Coffee has become a prominent international brand.
“This coffee, which is grown in the agency areas of Arak, is celebrated for its cleanliness, smell and a distinctive taste. Its unique properties have provided Araku global recognition,” Naida said. He added that coffee cultivation significantly changed the lives of tribal farmers in the region.

The Minister informed the Chief Minister of the recent memorandum between GCC and Tata Consumer Products Ltd., according to which the first Indian ecological soluble coffee would be produced.
She explained that in Makavarapal, near Narsipatnam, an integrated coffee processing unit, equipped with modern technology, was set up. “This device will promote the model on the Bean-to-Cup, create value-added products and open new Araku coffee markets,” she said.
