Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly K. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju indicated that the assembly sessions would be held from the second or third week of February 2026.

Talking to media persons who met him in Visakhapatnam on Sunday (January 18, 2026), the Deputy Speaker hoped that YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and ten MLAs of the party would attend the rally. He said the ethics committee is looking into the issue of drawing salaries of MLAs but is not participating in the assembly.
He said members who do not attend the assembly for more than 60 days will be disqualified. However, attendance for even one day in between would be enough to prevent any action.
