Exports are afraid of the likely impact of tariffs on shares imprisoned in various ports in the US and transport.
“Many containers from India have been sent to New York, Los Angles, Saman, Miami and other ports in the last few days. In addition, there are huge stocks on cargo ships,” Andhra Pradesh said.
“The officials concerned sent communication to exporters and traders who stated that the goods in transit would be selected old duties. This gave us some rest,” said Sivarama Krishna, farmer Aqua from the Krishna district.
“According to the latest information, goods charged before April 5 would be exported to old rates. However, shares charged after the date will be exported with increased tariffs,” said a member of the Sea Fruit exporters (SEAI) on Saturday.
Meanwhile, members of Andhra Pradesh Seai plan to meet the prime ministers and ministers and the financing of the Union trade unions to discuss the situation.
“We are trying to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other ministers and explain them to a crisis caused by an increased tariff,” said President Seai AP K. Anand Kumar.
“Aqua farmers, exporters and other stakeholders are in the state of panic. Seai members will bring problems with the announcement of the Prime Minister and other ministers,” Anand Kumar said.
