Andhra Pradesh Minorities Welfare Minister N Md. Farooq formally checked out the second batch of Haj pilgrims from the Gannavaram airport, marking the next phase of the state’s arrangements for the annual pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. A total of 177 pilgrims left as part of the final batch on Sunday (April 19, 2026).
Addressing the pilgrims at a gathering held at the SM Convention Center in Gannavaram, the minister conveyed his best wishes and expressed hope that their sacred journey to Mecca and Medina would be completed safely and successfully.
