A. Jayathilak took over as the main secretary of Kerala with Sarada Muraleedharan leaving the service on Wednesday.
Mr. Jayathilak, who worked as another main secretary (finance), is 50. The main secretary of the state. Mrs. Muraleedharan handed over the accusations of a short function held in the Chamber of the Main Secretary at the Secretariat on Wednesday evening.
The Cabinet meeting of April 23 decided to appoint Mr. Jayathilak, an official of the Kereral cadre from 1991 Indian administrative services (IAS), as another main secretary. Post will hold until June 2026.
Mr. Jayathilak launched his career in IAS as a subcover, Mananthavady. Since then, he has held functions including the CEO in the Industrial Industry and Kerala Tourism Development Corporation, District Collector Kolam and Kozhikode, President, Spice, Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources and other main secretary (cadastrophe management). In 2002-2005, he also held his office in the CHHhattisgarh government for international representation.
Farewell
Mrs. Pinaraya’s main Minister Vijayan described Mrs. Muraleedharan on Wednesday as someone who made her official life meaningful effective and its status in questions. Vijayan, who dealt with a farewell in Durbar Hall on the secretariat, remembered the “strong stall”, which Mrs. Muraleedharan captivated against the color of colors, which, as he said, pointed out this matter. The main minister also recalled her contributions to palliative care, kudumbashree, tribal well -being, the process of planning people and eradication of extreme poverty.
At her answer, Mrs. Muraleedharan said she was happy that she was part of the implementation of the developmental models set by Kerala.
