PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss on Saturday slammed the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government after a video purportedly showing a drunk Class 8 student surfaced on the internet.
He called the visuals “disturbing” and accused the government of failing to curb easy access to alcohol among minors, claiming it was neglecting students and prioritizing the sale of liquor.
Dr. Anbumani also questioned the enforcement of age restrictions, citing reports that a college student under the age of 21 had procured alcohol for a minor. He held Chief Minister MK Stalin accountable and criticized the DMK for not addressing prohibition or drug abuse in its manifesto.
