
Anant Ambani, chief executive of Reliance Industries Limited, made the contribution on Thursday ₹10 crores for a gaushala at the Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji temple in Gujarat’s Salangpur. With his contribution, he will support the welfare and care of cows.
The donations were made the day before his birthday, April 10. Anant Ambani will celebrate on Friday the 31st.
Gaushala at Salangpur Temple
According to a Desh Gujarat report, the gaushala will be built in the Salangpur Dham premises and is being developed on a sprawling 28-acre campus in collaboration with DeLaval – a dairy and agricultural machinery manufacturer.
The Ambani family serves as the main patron of the project, which will feature international standard facilities designed to house around 500 cows.
Viveksagardas Swami of Salangpur Temple blessed the occasion. A special Maruti Yagna was also held to mark the occasion in the presence of the deity.
On Tuesday, Ambani announced a contribution of ₹18 crore for the infrastructure of the temple ₹18 crore in temple infrastructure and animal welfare contributions in Kerala.

During his visit to the historic Rajrajeshwaram temple in Taliparamba around 8:00 pm on April 2, Anant Ambani performed traditional offerings including Ponnumkudam, Pattam, Thaali, Neyyamrutu and performed Ashwamedha Namaskaram, a news wire report mentioned.
He was accompanied by close associates and received with traditional honors by the temple authorities. TTK Devaswom President TP Vinod Kumar, Managing Director KP Vinayan, EP Chief Priest Kuberan Namboothiri and Devaswom Board Members were among those present.
He also visited the Guruvayur temple where he prayed to Lord Guruvayurappan and made donations ₹3 million for the temple trust.
