Anand Mahindra has recently praised the inspiring efforts of IAS Inderjit Singh officer, who currently serves as a municipal commissioner Lucknow.
This praise came after Singh, depressed by the low rating of Lucknow in the Swachh Surrekshan list, took things into his hands.

“The city of Lucknow has always enjoyed the impressive rumors of its rich culture and cuisine. However, cleanliness has never been part of this legacy. The lack of bins, public spitting and waste scattering during festivals,” said X.
He also shared his personal connection with the city and noted that the place had held a special place in his heart when his mother grew up there and taught at IT college before moving to Bombai.
“So to hear Lucknow becoming the city of the third degree in Swachh Survekshan, it was a very pleasant surprise to put it mildly,” he wrote.
Credited to the officer Ias Inderjita Singha for his efforts into an impressive transformation of the city.

As Mahindra described, it is known that Lucknow fought open waste in the main residential and commercial areas.
Thanks to Singha Lucknow’s efforts, he just jumped from 41 to 3 to 3 in the Indian list of the cleanest cities. He receives recognition to convert garbage into green parks and fuel waste.
