On Monday, the Anandapury Police arrested a woman for accusing an older woman attack after she allegedly tied her to the pole in Gowthamapura in Sagar Taluk.
Huchchamma, 67, was reportedly attacked by three people on June 25. On the basis of her complaint, the police registered the case against three people – Prema, Darshan and Manjunath. The police took their custody on Monday while Darshan and Manjunath escaped.
The accusations and victims are relatives and neighbors. On the day of the incident, they reported that he had a heated argument about municipal waste.
Huchchamma allegedly made inappropriate comments on the prema, which in turn tied the seniors to the pole. Video from the act became viral on social media.
