Seven accused, including Lashkar-e-Taiba mastermind and member T. Naseer, have been sentenced to seven years’ rigorous imprisonment by a special court of the National Investigation Agency in the 2023 Bengaluru jails radicalization case, an official statement said on Wednesday (22 Apr 2026).
Apart from Naseer, the court convicted the accused Syed Suhail Khan, Mohammed Umar, Zahid Tabrez, Syed Mudassir Pasha, Mohammed Faisal Rabbani and Salman Khan and imposed a fine of ₹48,000.
