The Indigo from Goa with 140 passengers on board carried out an emergency landing at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore on Monday (July 21, 2025) in the evening after a technical alert related to landing equipment, the officials said.
All passengers are safe.
VIPinkant Seth Director said that the Indigo Airlines (6E 813) from Goa received warnings of fraud, indicating a possible problem with landing equipment. As a preventive measure, the aircraft remained approximately 25 minutes before landing.
“Because of this warning, the aircraft landed under emergency conditions at Indore airport. The crew and all passengers are completely safe,” he said.
Another official stated that information about fraud warning was received, which caused a statement of “full emergency situation” at the airport. Fire and medical teams were deployed according to the standard operational procedure (SOP).
The aircraft transported about 140 passengers safely at 17:15. His scheduled arrival time was 16:50, added official.
The Indigo spokesman said Flight 6E 813 operating from the GOA International Airport (Dabolim) reported a technical snag just before landing.
“The aircraft landed safely in Indore. Before renewing operations, it will undergo the necessary checks, according to mandatory procedures. We are making all efforts to minimize its impact on any subsequent flights and regret any inconvenience that can be caused by our customers,” the spokesman added.
