The Earthquake of 5.3 on the Richter scale was interpreted on Saturday by Pakistan, the statement of the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
According to the NCS, there was an earthquake at a shallow depth of 10 km, so it is susceptible to shocks. In the post on X, NCS said: “EQ M: 5.3, on: 12/04/2025 13:00:55 Ist, LAT: 33,70 N, Long: 72,43 E, Depth: 10 km, Location: Pakistan.”

The epicenter was placed 60 kilometers northwest of Rawalpindi.
