Six accused have been arrested in connection with the grenade attack on the Bhindi Saida police station in Punjab’s Amritsar district last month. The incident took place on the night of the March 29-30 raid on the police station. No one was injured in the incident.
“Major breakthrough, Amritsar District Rural Police, in a joint operation with Faridkot District Police, solves a case of grenade attack on PS Bhindi Saida, leading to the arrest of six accused and recovery of two pistols,” Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said on Monday X Monday (April 13, 2026).
The DGP said preliminary investigations found that the module was supported by Pakistan’s ISI.
