Amrita Vidyalayam, Coimbatore, has set 27 world records as part of the AMRITA Vidyalayam Records 2025 amrita festival – an event organized on the designation of the 25th year of the School Education Service, the institution said in a press release.
The school, managed by Mat Amritanandamayi Math, celebrated this milestone by combining students, teachers and employees in cooperation.
According to an institution’s press release, records were certified by Elite World Records, Asian Records Academy, India Records Academy and Tamilan Book of Records, under close supervision of 27 judges from three countries and seven different Indian countries.
The event took place from 3rd to 8th April and participated in various schools. The Citation ceremony of the event took place on April 11 in Nadlopaayam in Coimbatore. This was attended by a total of 3,091 students from KG to XII, along with 154 devoted teachers and 150 support employees.
27-World records continued a wide range of disciplines. It was a special record dedicated to AMMA, along with achievements in Art Craft with four records, and academic excellence, which represented eleven records.
The students also excelled in the dance, secured one record and showed their physical fitness with two sports recordings. Depending on the issue, their obligation to environmental care was emphasized by three records and sustainability, while their cognitive abilities were displayed in the memory and mind category and gained one record.
The festival also celebrated literary talent with two records in literature and language, and spiritual unity was expressed by two records in spiritual cultural expressions.
The event was decorated with Rabih Baalbaki, CEO of Elite World Records LLC, USA, A Lau Thien Hot, CEO of the Elite World Records team in Singapore. Noura Al Merhabi, Global Ambassador and Judge in Elite World Records and Ameet K. Hingorani, Ambassador and Judge Judge in Elite World Records were also present.
The Ak Senthil Kumar, Ambassador and Judge leader at Asian Records Academy and P. Jeganathan, head manager and former editor of the Academy of India Records Academy were also present. J. Maragatham, manager of records in Tamilan Book of Records, contributed to the event for the event.
Swamini Bhaktipriyamrita Prana, correspondent for Tamil Nadu and Puduchherry and Swamini Muktamritaprana, manager of the overall vision of the Nallampalayam festival, the edition said. Amrita Vidyalayam in Tamil Nadu and Puduchherry and Nandagopal C., Genistration Manager at Vishwa Viswa Vidapeetham.
At school level, K. Jayajothy, director of Amrity Vidyalayam, Nallampalayam, along with B. Padmaja, academic coordinator, and Mr. Sudha, director, provided consistent management and coordination, ensuring smooth and successful performance of the event.
Up to 92 independent witnesses and time sites played a crucial role in ensuring that every record attempt is real and well documented, the edition said.
