Nikhil Nanda, Chairman of Escorts Kubota Limited, has bought a luxury apartment in Mumbai. Nanda is the son-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan. The apartment is located in the city district of Juhu. He bought the property for more than ₹28 million, as confirmed by documents accessed by Liases Foras. Liases Foras is a real estate research organization. The documents revealed that the transaction was carried out by Nikhil’s sister, Nitasha Nanda, acting as a power of attorney.
Nanda, who is married to Shweta Nanda, daughter of Amitabh Bachchan, is the son of Ritu Nanda and Rajan Nanda. His mother Ritu Nanda was the daughter of famous Bollywood actor, director and producer Raj Kapoor.
Contract of sale and flat size
The sale agreement was filed on October 16, 2025. Nanda bought a unit in K Raheja Corp’s Maestro project measuring 3,139 sq. ft. along with an additional terrace of 411 sq. ft., bringing the total area to about 3,550 sq. ft. The documents showed that the luxury apartment also includes three parking spaces.
The property was listed at value ₹28.39 million, p ₹1.70 crore paid in stamp duty. According to the official filing, the seller is K Raheja Corp Real Estate Pvt. Ltd.
