The Minister of the Interior of the Union AMIT Shah praised the steps taken by the right and security agencies of Jammu and Kashmir after the terrorist attack Pahalgam and said it helped to strengthen the overall security scenario in the Union.
Mr. Shah chaired a high -level meeting to check the security situation in J&K. The meeting was attended by Governor Lieutenant Manoj Sinha and other higher officials.
22 April were 26 people, mostly tourists, killed in Pahalgam South Kashmir in the attack of three Pakistani terrorists, who were subsequently killed in surgery 28 July.
The Minister of the Interior emphasized the importance of security agencies working in a coordinated and alert way to remove terrorism from the region. With the advent of winter, he warned that the security forces had to remain fully prepared to prevent attempts to infiltrate across the border.
Mr. Shah reiterated that the government is determined to achieve the goal of J&K without terrorism. He noted that because of the determined efforts of security agencies, the “terrorist network is almost crippled.” He assured that all the necessary resources would continue to be provided to maintain the efforts for anti -terrorism efforts and added that “security forces will continue to have full freedom of action to crush any attempt to threaten peace and security in the region”.
