The Minister of the Interior of the Union AMIT Shah visited the Sri Rajarajeswara temple in Taliparmba, Kannura and offered prayers on Saturday (July 12, 2025).
Mr. Shah, who arrived in the middle of close safety at Kannur Airport until 16:50 in a special flight after participating in Thiruvanathapuram, received a huge reception in Mattanur. A large number of people gathered along the road through which his convoy passed to reach the temple.
He was accompanied by state president BJP Rajeev Chandrasekhar. Party Vice President of C. Sadanandan C. Sadanandan, Hindu Aicaavedi state President Valsan Thillankeri, former President of the BJP district P. Satyaprakashan and others welcomed him at the airport.
Mr. Shah traveled from the airport to the temple and reached the area until 17:45, which was welcomed by the temple authorities and the leaders of the BJP leaders. After offering prayers in the temple, he returned to the airport 18:45 and left for the new Delhi at 19:15
Security was tightened across the Taliparamba and the surrounding areas in connection with the visit to the Minister of the Union.
