Deputy Secretary General DMK A. Raja said on Friday that the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah, “who is from another state”, cannot decide who will become the main minister Tamil Nadu.
In his statement, he said that Mr. Shah is afraid of the representative of the main Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, that in the elections to the assembly of 2026 the memorial of the alliance BJP-AIADMK. “The main minister comes from Arivalayam (DMK headquarters). For BJP-AIADMK it comes from Nagpur,” said Raja.
His comments came in response to Mr. Shaha’s claim that Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin would never become the main minister.
“The fascist BJP is a poisonous plant that must be completely uprooted and thrown out of India. Indian block and people will ensure,” he said.
“Amit Shah, who went to prison in the case of meetings of Sohrabuddin Sheikh, is not qualified to bring the Constitution (130. Appendix) the law,” Mr. Raja felt. He argued that 39% of the Ministers in the Modi cabinet had cases against them and would be charged for them. “The bill is focused on those they do not like and remove them from power. By being a black account, it is suitable. If the bill is good, why does not apply to BJP,” said Mr. Raja.
He claimed that BJP’s decision was abusing coercive agencies to focus on their political opponents, as a bill that plans to target the main ministers of the ruling BJP states.
“It is not (AIADMK leader) Edappadi Palaniswami regime, which shakes with fear of threats and intimidation of Amit Shah.
In the past, he also stressed that Mr. Shah said that the AIADMK regime was corrupt and now BJP has created an alliance with AIADMK. “His remarks that there is now a corrupt regime in the state is ridiculous,” Raja said.
“The budget center has not reported schemes for Tamil Nadu and does not add sufficient funds to develop Tamil. In this situation, Mr. Shah is not ashamed of winning in the state,” he said.
“Shah is doing a policy with a lie that has already been defeated in front of the folk forum. The freeziness of the bje will not win Tamil Nadu,” Raja said.
